Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Andrea M. Jones graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. After graduation, she relocated to the Memphis, TN area where she practiced small animal medicine. In May of 2001, Dr. Jones returned to her hometown of Jackson, MS. And started Dogwood Animal Hospital and Pet Resort in Flowood, MS. Dr. Jones has a strong interest in the human-animal bond and in geriatric medicine. She is an active member of the community and is Vice President of the local veterinary association. She ran the Chicago Marathon in 2006. She has three dogs: Pete- 8 year old beagle, Beth- 4 ½ year old terrier mix, and Tank 3 ½ year old mix. And her newest addition her son, Nicholas Dolan Jones
