Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mark L. Goodell, DVM, is a graduate of Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to that, he received his Master's degree from Colorado State University and B.S. degree from Montana State University, both in Animal Sciences.Dr. Goodell has had a lifelong interest in veterinary medicine. He is proud to have taken up the family business following his father as a veterinarian. Before attending veterinary college, Dr. Goodell learned valuable veterinary practice methods as a young assistant in his father's large and small animal medicine clinic in Great Falls, Montana.After graduating from vet school, Dr. Goodell moved from Fort Collins, Colorado to St. Paul, Minnesota where he worked with two St. Paul veterinary hospitals, as well as the Animal Emergency Clinic of St. Paul. He proudly opened the doors to Fort Road Animal Clinic in 1985.When not working, Dr. Goodell enjoys his own pets (of course), as well as all things outdoors--especially downhill skiing, hiking, biking, traveling. He also enjoys woodworking, classic cars, and is an avid sports fan with a passion for reading historical non-fiction
