Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cassie Engmann received a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University in 1997 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2002 from Iowa State University. After graduation Dr. Engmann elected to pursue further training and was chosen for an internship at a large emergency and referral hospital in western Massachusetts. Following that year of intense surgical and clinical practice, she elected to stay in Massachusetts and took a position in the Boston area as an Emergency Clinician at one of the premier Referral/Specialty hospitals in New England, Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital. In 2007 Dr. Engmann relocated to Minnesota and joined Animal Wellness Center in the fall of 2008. Outside the clinic Dr. Engmann is very active training and competing with her Australian Shepherds in conformation, obedience, and agility. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, canine reproduction, and treating the canine athlete.
