Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Griffin grew up in Rumford, Maine. After graduating from the University of Maine, he went on to veterinary school and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1972. He opened his own practice in 1976. In the early days, his time was divided between large animal and small animal care. In 2003, he achieved his certification in veterinary acupuncture. He now combines the proven ancient Chinese medicine theories and applications with his experience in the more traditional Western medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, scuba diving and boating. He also works his small farm of 70+ chickens, 2 horses and 1 rabbit. Dr. Griffin shares his home with his wife, youngest daughter, a handful of Jack Russells, a Newfoundland, numerous cats and several fish.
