Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Derek VanDuzer was born and raised in upstate New York. After graduating from Clemson University in South Carolina, he worked for a year with a mixed animal veterinarian. He then attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine where he met his wife, Dr. Kim Williams-VanDuzer. He succeeded in graduating at the top of his class. After graduation, Dr. VanDuzer worked for a mixed animal practice in Lancaster, PA for 2 years. In 1998, he started working at an exclusive small animal practice in Pasadena, MD. In 2004, he and his wife purchased Prettyboy Veterinary Hospital. Surgery is his favorite part of practice. The doctors live in the area with their kids: Caroline, Danny and Ryan. He enjoys working on cars, water sports, and spending time with his family.
