Veterinarian Overview
NORMA J GOTTSTEIN, DVM is originally from the small town of Woodbine, MD and came to Kansas in 2000 to be closer to her husbands family. She graduated from Hood College in 1989 with a BA in Biology and went on to earn her DVM degree from Virginia Tech in 1993. She enjoys working with all types of dogs and cats and has a special interest in rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and small rodents. In addition to her general veterinary education, Dr. Gottstien has taken many hours of additional specialized lecture and training seminars in order to increase her knowledge and skills regarding the care of these small exotic pets.Dr. Gottstein shares her home with her husband and two children as well as two dogs, three cats and two ferrets. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, camping and fishing. When trapped indoors due to the exceptional heat and cold of Kansas, she spends her free time cooking, reading, doing crochet and trying to learn to knit!
