Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cathy received her DVM from Kansas State University in 1967. She spent two years practicing in Fort Worth, Texas where Dr. Gary Harmon was stationed with the United States Air Force. In 1969, they returned to Andover and founded the Andover Veterinary Clinic. AVC has been in its current location since Friday, February 13, 1970. Incidentally, their first patient that day was a black cat. AVC has been remodeled three times with two expansions in addition to building the Andover Boarding Kennel. Dr. Cathy continues to practice veterinary medicine and has a special interest in dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys following the local high school and K-State sporting events. She also loves woodworking, water skiing, swimming, and volunteering with many charitable organizations.
