Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Caldwell joined the team at Buck Creek Veterinary Clinic in 2009 initially just filling in while Dr. Schweikhardt was out of the office. We are pleased that she now works on a weekly basis as a part of the staff. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Purdue University in 1974. She and her husband Dave have been married for over 42 years and have two children. Their daughter Sara is a Professor at Valparaiso University and their son Nathan is a TV videographer. Their family also includes three loveable dogs: Gucci, Lilly, and Rhodie. Dr. Caldwell enjoys raising horses, gardening, training dogs, and working on the remodel of their old house in her very limited spare time.
