Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kate McNamara completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2008 and her Masters in Public Health (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from UIC in 2012. She prides herself on effective communication skills and working with clients to provide progressive, compassionate care for her patients. She enjoys all aspects of medicine but has a special interest in dentistry, surgery, and dermatology. Dr. McNamara is also proficient in Spanish and French. Dr. McNamara has been with VCA since 2008 and shares her household with her husband, son, and daughter, one-eyed cat Maggie, and lively pitbull terrier, Choloani.
