Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katsalis received her Bachelor of Arts degree in pre-veterinary medicine with minors in chemistry and environmental biology in 1980 from Augustana College, Rock Island, Il. While working on a PhD program in Biotechnology and Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology she worked in the chemistry field and then in the pharmaceutical field dealing with FDA regulations of pharmaceuticals. In 1986 she was accepted into the veterinary program at Ross University in New York, with their base located on the Island of St. Kitts, West Indies. She purchased Ridge Animal Clinic in 2000. It has certainly been quite an experience watching the clinic grow over the years. She enjoys practicing general veterinary medicine and surgery, especially with a dedicated and caring team who are always looking to improve their clinical knowledge and skills. Along with Dino and her daughter Gabrielle, Dr.Katsalis shares her home with their Shorkie Zu Tank
