Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dave Wendell is a native of Garden Plain, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University in 1986. Fresh out of school, Dave practiced in Mesquite, Texas at the Dallas County Veterinary Hospital for one year; he then moved to Jerseyville and joined the Jersey Calhoun Veterinary Hospital in 1987. Dr. Wendell became partner in 1988. Dave is married to the former Diane Koenig and has six children. Among his specialties is surgery - especially orthopedic surgery. In addition to six children the Wendell home is blessed with three cats, Coco, Brownie and Kit Kat, and Goldie the dog.
