Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Zimmerman grew up in the Barrington area and graduated from Barrington High School in 1993. Dr. Zimmerman grew up in this hospital as a high school student working as an assistant and kennel attendant under Dr. Noyes. He then went to North Carolina State for his undergrad education and returned to Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois Veterinary School in 2002. After veterinary school he completed a veterinary externship at the Shedd Aquarium to enhance his ability to treat exotic and aquatic animals. He returned home and began working as an associate at VCA Noyes in July of 2003. In 2006 he was promoted to the position of Medical Director.
