Veterinarian Overview
Dr. B graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. With Dr. Fox, he started Burnham Park Animal Hospital in 1994.Dr. B currently serves on the board of Safe Humane Chicago. Their mission is to create safe and humane communities by inspiring positive relationships between people and animals. Programs include: training high school students to educate younger kids in disadvantaged communities about the humane treatment of animals, working with incarcerated teens to learn how to care for and train shelter dogs for adoption, working with Animal Care and Control to socialize and train dogs, esp. pit bull breeds, to increase their opportunity for adoption, and court case dogs which helps to get abused and confiscated animals trained, fostered and adopted.
