Veterinarian Overview
Dr Jones is a proud Illini, having earned the DVM degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, Dr Jones earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Dr Jones has a special interest in avian medicine and enjoys working with other exotic animals as well. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, and traveling with her husband, Hank, and their two dogs, Simon Moon and Sydney. They hope to add a macaw to the family in the next year or two, and currently enjoy living with their cats and a green cheek conure named Saren.
