When our Springer, Amy became ill, we took her to Webb animal hospital where Dr Lord was working (at that time). Dr Lord was the practitioner who saw Amy and recognized the seriousness of Amy's illness. The good doctor was very kind and caring to both Amy and the fur baby parents. Dr Lord spent a lot of time explaining everything that could have been wrong with Amy. Amy was hospitalized for 6 days, during that time Dr Lord made numerous phone contacts with us to give updates on what they were doing to diagnose and treat our dear little pup (Amy was 12 1/2 years old the day she entered the hospital, but she will always remain our puppy). On days that we were able to visit ( we were unable to see Amy for two days because of an unusual snow storm in coastal GA), Dr Lord always came in to see us and give us updates. Unfortunately, our sweet little girl turned out to be critically ill, we had to make a very hard decision. Dr Lord was with us every step of the way, for that we are most thankful. Dr Lord will be missed in Rincon. We wish both her and her family much happiness and success in Royston!
