Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Clark grew up on a farm in rural Georgia raising cattle and horses. As a young girl, she participated in rodeos. She knew she wanted to be a vet from a very early age, acquiring her love of animals from her Dad. She began her journey helping animals as a certified veterinary technician, attending school and obtaining her certification in Denver, Colorado. As a veterinary tech, she volunteered several years with the Iditarod Sled Dog race in Alaska. She assisted the Iditarod veterinarian and helped in all capacities with the racing dogs. Dr. Clark continued attending school at the University of Denver where she obtained her bachelors degree. After moving back to Georgia, she was accepted into vet school at University of Georgia where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. She has a passion for emergency medicine which makes Dr. Clark a perfect fit for our overnight emergency patients. She is owned by 2 cats, Chipper and Daisy, and 3 dogs, Spanky, Pickle, and Greta the bulldog. Dr. Clark lives in Daytona Beach and absolutely loves the beach life!! When she isnt helping patients at FAH, you can find her at the beach or on the water boating, and kayaking.
