Veterinarian Overview
Dr. McLelland graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. He has been with Animal Care Center as a practicing Veterinarian and Owner since 1983. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Florida Veterinary Medical Association. His special medical interests include Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery and Pet Health Education. Dr. McLelland regularly promotes Pet Health Care through local television Public Service Announcements - you may see him occasionally on Beach TV and other local news broadcasts. Dr. McLelland is active within the community - a Paul Harris Fellow and member of Rotary International and Woodlawn Methodist Church. He and his wife of over 30 years, have two sons and two dogs, Bentley and "Lucy", both Golden Retriever mixes. With his time away from the hospital, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and playing the guitar.
