Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hernandez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 2002. She then joined Tuskegee University in Alabama where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. After graduation, Dr. Hernandez completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Missouri University-Columbia. Her major interests include internal and preventative medicine. Dr. Hernandez joined our practice in October 2010. She lives in Orlando with her husband, Dr. Miguel Rivera, and her dog, Chapulin.
