Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Chosa was born and raised in Johnson City, TN. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia & her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. She served on active duty in the the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps for 5 years. After her honorable discharge in 2010, she moved to Brevard County and worked as an associate veterinarian before purchasing Courtenay Animal Hospital in March 2012. As practice owner, Dr. Chosa's focus is ensuring that all patients receive the highest possible level of medical care in a nurturing environment. She emphasizes preventive care & maintaining wellness as the best way to keep patients healthy and happy. When Dr. Chosa is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes Buddy, her beloved mixed-breed rescue dog. She proudly supports numerous local rescue groups and also enjoys giving back to the local community by supporting local schools and charity groups.
