Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cassidy purchased Eustis Veterinary Hospital in September of 2009 after doing relief work here for over 10 years. She is a Florida native born in Tampa. Dr. Cassidy has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was three years old and visited a veterinary clinic where her aunt worked. In high school she spent her summers working at Upper Keys Veterinary Clinic in Islamorada, FL. She obtained her undergraduate chemistry major in 1992 at Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated Cum Laude in 1996 with her DVM from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has served on the Orange County Animal Services advisory board for the last 6 years. She is a member of the AVMA and AAHA. Dr. Cassidy currently has 20 cats, 3 dogs, 1 horse and 2 fish tanks. She has been married for 13 years and has an 11 year old daughter. When she is not at work she likes to spend time with her 4-legged and 2-legged children.
