Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Modi is a New York native, having grown up on Long Island. After graduating from New York University in 2008 with a degree in Biology, she decided to head west making it as far as Knoxville where she attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her DVM in 2012. With a special interest in exotics and zoo medicine, she continued westward, settling in Nevada this time.In addition to taking care of cats and dogs, she was proud to care for a variety of other pets, including (but not limited to) snakes, rabbits, tortoises, guinea pigs, and the occasional serval. After three years of practicing veterinary medicine at a busy animal hospital in Las Vegas, she felt a yearning for home and made her way back to New York.Dr. Modi currently lives in New Rochelle with her three cats/ninjas: Jack, Faile, and Perrin. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and watching movies. She is also a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
