Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lake grew up in a military family, living in California, Germany, Virginia, and ultimately settling in Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech. She then attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017. Following graduation, Dr. Lake completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship in Monterey, CA and a dermatology specialty internship outside of Philadelphia, PA. Following her year in Pennsylvania, Dr. Lake accepted a dermatology residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic. In Dr. Lake?s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, camping, traveling, playing volleyball, and trying unique food. She has a 10 year old pug, Bear, who acts as the drill sergeant of the household.
