Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Heather Kaplan grew up in Palmer, Alaska, and earned both her B.S. in Natural Science and her M.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Alaska. In addition, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University, and previously served as an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Alaska Pet Care. She loves being a veterinarian because it allows her to combine her love of science with her love of working closely with people and animals
