Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Elizabeth Cowan is a new California transplant from New England. Prior to joining our team at VCA Almaden Valley Animal Hospital, Dr. Cowan worked as an Emergency Veterinarian at a specialty hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Cowan attended New York University in Manhattan for her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry. She received her veterinary degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts and continued her education with a small animal rotating internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in New York City. When she is not at work, Dr. Cowan can be found enjoying the California weather exploring with her two dogs, Kai and Mia.
