Veterinarian Overview
Dr. John Traversi now works as a full time veterinarian at Sunset Cliffs Animal Hospital. Along with a strong interest in companion animal medicine and surgery, he also has been a student of veterinary acupuncture at the Chi institute in Florida where he learned how to perform acupuncture along with other Eastern healing modalities on dogs and cats. On his off days Dr. Traversi works for the National Marine Mammal Foundation, a non profit organization in San Diego, where he is a veterinarian for dolphins and sea lions. He has a pet dog named Mala that he rescued off the streets in the Caribbean. She and him enjoy running down Sunset Cliffs and playing frisbee at dog beach in OB.
