Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Brynie Kaplan-Dau graduated from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Her primary interests include feline medicine, emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and exotic animal medicine - including birds, fish, and reptiles. She also has advanced training in ultrasound. Dr. Kaplan-Dau grew up in Pacific Grove and is happy to be back on the peninsula after many years away. Before becoming a veterinarian Dr. Kaplan-Dau was a marine biologist (Masters of Science from Moss Landing Marine Labs and CSU Monterey Bay) and worked with marine endangered wildlife in California, Washington State, and Greece. Outside of work, Dr. Kaplan-Dau spends most of her time with her four-year-old twins Poppy and Myles and her husband Dan. She also enjoys spending time with her cats Saga and Elijah and hiking on the beach with her pugs Ruby and Sampson.
