Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Schmidt graduated with honors from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After concluding a one year surgical and medicine internship at Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic, he continued to work at LBVC for an additional 7 years. In 2003 Dr. Schmidt joined the staff at Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital and Pet Emergency Center. Dr. Schmidt has completed advanced training in ultrasound, surgery, and pain management. He is the father of two daughters, and enjoys the outdoors, fitness training, target practice, and Jiu Jitsu.
