Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Linda J. Larsen is a board-certified small animal surgeon covering all advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgery techniques. She received her doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She continued her advanced training through a one year rotating medicine and surgery internship at Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine; followed by a three year surgery residency and Master of Science (MS) degree program at Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of her residency Dr. Larsen accepted a one year clinical instructorship position at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine where she trained residents, interns and students in small animal surgery. She then returned home to California entering private referral practice in 1999 and opening her own surgical services business in November, 2006.
