Dr. Schumacher is one of the most outstanding vets (and people) I’ve ever met. My dog had an emergency recently while we were out of town and it was really upsetting. Dr. Schumacher carefully and thoroughly explained our dog’s condition over the phone, while also reassuring us emotionally. She took her time answering all our questions instead of rushing or dismissing us like a lot of doctors do. She also was clear on informing us what our baby actually needed and not trying to upsell us on procedures/exams she didn’t need (which is, unfortunately, rare in medicine). She is super knowledgeable, extremely nice and sweet, and very caring. We’re so glad our girl had this great doctor taking care of her while we were away.
