Dr. Wendy Wehmeyer pursued her dream and graduated from the highly ranked North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After many years as an Emergency Doctor at both Specialty Referral hospitals and ER practices in Southern California, Dr. Wehmeyer is excited to be working with BrightCare Veterinary Emergency. Dr. Wehmeyer provides compassionate animal care while exhibiting tender bedside manner. She is always striving to learn about cutting edge treatments in order to practice the highest level of medical care for her patients. When not at the hospital, you will likely find Dr. Wehmeyer enjoying outdoor activities, the ocean, fitness, and spending time with her fur children.
