Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tina Showler was born and raised in Switzerland prior to moving to southern California with her family at the age of 13. She received her BachelorsÂ’ degree in Biological Sciences from UC, Santa Barbara and graduated from UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Showler joined our team in January of 2009 and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. Dr. Showler, husband Steve and two daughters spend their winter months skiing in Tahoe. During the summer she enjoys cycling, both road and mountain biking, and often commutes to work on her bike. Of course, a considerable amount of time is spent with their furry family, Bailey, the red merle Australian shepherd and 3 cats; Silas, Theo and Clancy.
