Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Amanda Owens developed a love of animals at an early age and is now dedicating her life to their well-being. She graduated with honors from Ross University and completed a year of clinical rotations at Oregon State University. She then furthered her education with a rotating externship at Dove Lewis Emergency Hospital. Dr. Owens has a unique understanding of the love and companionship fur babies provide their owners and seeks to ensure they get the care they need to enjoy long, happy lives. She also has a strong passion for small animal internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Owens and her husband, Richard, enjoy the simplicities of life such as spending time with family and friends and traveling. They have three dogs of their own. Dr. Owens is also involved in the community and is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is on the Board of Directors of Mirandas People.
