Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Giles received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He began working at Village Animal Hospital in 1992 and took ownership of the practice in 1994. Dr. Giles is a member of the AVMA - American Veterinary Medical Association, OVMA - Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association and a member of the COVMA Central Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. He has served as a trustee for the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Foundation. Additionally, he served a 4 year term on the executive board of the OVMA. In January of 2002, Dr. Giles was recognized by his peers as the 2001 Companion Animal Practitioner of the year for the state of Oklahoma. In 1995, he was one of the veterinarians chosen to care for the rescue dogs at the site of the Murrah Building bombing.
