Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Benker worked as a farrier and showed Quarter Horses for the public while obtaining his Veterinary degree. After graduation he moved to Noblesville, IN and started Benker Veterinary clinic and Benker Equine Center where they stood several stallions and bred 500-800 mares per year. In 2000, he sold the Indiana practice and moved to a farm he had previously purchased in Morriston, FL. In 2001, he started a solo practice concentrating on reproduction and Quarter Horse show horses. He joined his practice with EMCO in January 2009. Fred enjoys raising halter horses. Fred's hobbies are motorcycling and fishing.
