Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Gilbert recently moved to Texas, having spent the last 12 years as the owner/sole practitioner of her own clinic in Florence, Alabama, where she focused on companion animal health. Not only was she born and raised in Alabama, she also attended Auburn University where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in Animal & Dairy Science in 1995. She earned her doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) in 1998 from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.At home Dr. Gilbert has one dog, a boxer named Kramer, and a horse named Dun in chocolate, aka Dunny. She regularly competes on Dun in Beginner Novice Eventing.
