Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katie Shea grew up in upstate New York in the small town of Watervliet. As soon as she could obtain a job it was in the veterinary field where she has been a kennel assistant, a receptionist and a technician. She attended SUNY Albany for her undergraduate degree in Biology. Her next step was moving to the small island of St. Kitts for veterinary school at Ross University where she graduated with highest honors. Dr. Shea has strong interests in emergency medicine and client communication.Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Shea enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family. She is currently living in San Antonio with her Papillon, Jake, and her two island rescue Coconut Retrievers, Jackson and Carib
