Dr. Reina Hagstrom was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from high school, Dr, Hagstrom decided to move to the USA and obtained Bachelor of Animal Science from University of Idaho. Dr. Hagstrom attended veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies, and finished a one-year clinical rotation at Murdoch University in Australia. Dr. Hagstrom has special interests in surgery, dentistry, exotic animals, fish medicine and especially in marine mammals. In her free time, she likes to travel, spend times with friends, and to do various sports activities and Zumba. Dr. Hagstrom moved to San Antonio with her German Shepherd Mix Flurry and both are enjoying the nice weather and getting to know the city.
