A native Texan, Dr. Manning is from Corsicana. He joined the VitalPet family in San Antonio at Town & Country Veterinary Hospital-Bandera Road in 2011. He attended Texas A&M University for both his undergrad and doctor of veterinary medicine degrees.Dr. Manning has a special interest in ñintegrated medicineî _ a mix of western medicine with acupuncture, herbology and energy healing _ for a more holistic approach. His acupuncture expertise enhances Town & CountryÍs available medical services, and offers alternative options when conventional medications are not a complete solution to a petÍs health problem.At the age of four, he watched a veterinarian perform a ñmiracleî on a cow, bringing it ñback to life.î At that moment, a spark was lit inside the young John Manning. His incredible experience is a large part of what made him the dedicated doctor that he is today.He is a member of both TVMA and AVMA. His well-rounded approach to veterinary medicine helps this friendly Texan care for your pets and find solutions for your companionÍs health that fit within your family.When heÍs not at work, you can find Dr. Manning cheering on his son (the budding baseball star), playing guitar, or practicing his swing on the golf course.
