Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jen Diehl is originally from Lafayette, LA. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to receiving her DVM degree, Dr. Diehl completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Louisiana State University. She has also completed her Veterinary Acupuncture Certification course at the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL. Dr. Diehl is especially interested in soft tissue surgery and veterinary acupuncture. She believes in an integrative medicine approach. This means using western as well as eastern medicine and therapies to create a unique and custom treatment plan for her patients. She believes acupuncture can be particularly useful in helping pets when they can not take western medicines, there are not western medicines available, or a corrective surgery is not an option. Dr. Diehl is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Heartworm Society. When not at the office, Dr. Diehl enjoys painting and drawing, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and spending time with her two dogs, Ellie and Kenzie.
