Dr. Flores is a native Houstonian and 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Internal medicine is an area of interest for Dr. Flores, as she enjoys methodical, diagnostic investigations that uncover underlying conditions. Pain management, especially related to dental health care, is also important to her. Although dogs and cats make up most of her patients, Dr. Flores also loves to treat small exotic species; birds, reptiles and small mammals. She volunteers at The Wildlife Center of Texas where she consults with wildlife rehabilitators and provides medical and surgical care to injured and orphaned wildlife species. When she is not caring for animals, she is running, swimming or cycling.
