Veterinarian Overview
A native Pittsburgher, Dr. Bollens is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. Following veterinary school, Dr. Bollens practiced in the Washington D.C. area for 5 years before returning to Pittsburgh to work with his dad. He volunteers his time at Animal Friends performing spays and neuters. He enjoys surgery as well preventative medicine. He is a member of the AVMA, PVMA and WPVMA. Out of the office, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and racing in triathlons as well as spending time with his family and cheering for his hometown sports teams.
