Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rog was born and raised in Lakewood. After obtaining his DVM degree, Dr. Rog served as a Captain/Base Veterinarian at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas. He practiced for a couple of years at an Emergency Clinic in Canton before moving back to San Antonio, TX where he worked in a mixed (small animal and farm animals) practice for 4 years. Dr. Rog joined Lakewood Animal Hospital in 1986. Dr. Rog is married to Kathy, a teacher in the Lakewood School system, and has two grown children and 6 grandchildren. The Rogs share their home with their dog, Lily. Dr. Rog enjoys walking his dog and various other sports.
