Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katie Weldon, VMD has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 18 years in the Reno-Sparks area since receiving her degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1995. Dr. Weldon has worked on many different animals both large and small, domestic and exotic. She has even performed dentistry on a tiger who had an appetite for car tires! Dr. Weldon enjoys general medicine and takes great pleasure in watching a young puppy or kitten grow up to be a healthy dog or cat. Ferrets and rabbits have proven to be a fun specialty for her, while surgery remains one of her greatest interests.
