Veterinarian Overview
Justin M. Goggin, DVM, DACVR (Diagnostic Radiology), is the director of Metropolitan Veterinary Radiology and has been a board certified radiologist since 1998. He received undergraduate and veterinary degrees with distinction from Cornell University. He completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and Radiology Residency at Kansas State University, with additional residency training at UC Davis and Colorado State University. He has practiced in New Jersey, providing radiology consultation and diagnostic ultrasound imaging services for veterinarians in general and specialty referral practice, for over 10 years. Dr. Goggin is a consulting radiologist for the Veterinary MRI and Radiotherapy Center of New Jersey in Clifton, New Jersey. He previously oversaw the radioiodine therapy program for hyperthyroid cats at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Fairfield, New Jersey, and served on the American College of Veterinary Radiology examination committee from 2006 -2009. Dr. Goggin has published peer reviewed articles and book chapters on numerous subjects related to veterinary diagnostic imaging. He currently serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Journal of Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound.
