Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lani Gilliam is the primary veterinarian at the Carmel location of Leos Pet Care. Dr. Gilliam is a lifelong Indiana resident, having graduated from Carmel High School and Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is also a graduate of the Healing Oasis post-graduate chiropractic / neurology course for animals, using this knowledge along with traditional medicine to treat both small animals and horses. Dr. Gilliam is also a lifelong equestrian, having ridden and competed as a junior in hunter / jumper competitions. She now competes in Combined Training / Eventing competitions with horses she has trained. Most of these horses are off-the-track thoroughbreds. When not training horses, Dr. Gilliam loves hiking, camping and traveling with her husband Gary and their dog Mick.
