Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jean Maria Acuna is a second-generation veterinarian who fell in love with the field after witnessing the impact her fathers care had on his patients and clients. As she has become more involved in veterinary medicine, she has enjoyed seeing the difference she has made in both the lives of the animals she has cared for and the families that love them. She would like to specialize in surgery. She enjoys being able to work with a pet to repair, replace or remove problematic issues that could affect their quality of life. Dr. Acuna finds it especially gratifying to see patients recover after an extensive surgical procedure and return to their normal disposition.
