Veterinarian Overview
Dr. April Geer received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1998 and was the co-owner of a small animal veterinary hospital in Columbus, Ohio until moving to Florida in 2006. Here, she worked at a traditional small animal hospital in south Orlando for 3 years before developing the desire to open Paws Around Town Mobile Vet Hospital in order to bring low stress veterinary care to her patients. Dr. Geer resides in Poinciana with her husband and their menagerie of pets consisting of 5 dogs - a Lab named Chloe, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Oliver, and 3 Frenchies -Archie, Luke and Zeke, as well as 2 cats - Calvin and Dottie. Dr Geer has also recently become involved in volunteering with an organization that provides marine mammal rescue.
