Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alicia Bainter was born and raised near Daytona Beach, Florida. She attended Stetson University in Deland, where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Biology.While attending Stetson she held a leadership position in a student group called PAWS (Providing Animals with Service).Group members volunteered at local shelters/rescue groups and were instrumental in changing school policy to allow pets in the dormitories. Dr. Bainter obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the University of Missouri in 2014. Currently she is furthering her education at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is looking forward to offering acupuncture sessions for her patients. Her other areas of special interest include surgery, dentistry, and small exoticanimals. Dr. Bainters companions include a mastiff named Polly and three chinchillas: Merlin, Raven, and Stella. In her free time,she enjoys scuba diving,traveling,and gardening.
