Veterinarian Overview
Received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1993. Since then she has worked in mixed animal practice for 6 years in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa before completing a Residency program in Reproduction at Louisiana State University. She became Board Certified in Reproduction in 2002, and also has an interest in animal acupuncture. Dr. Murton moved to DeLand in 2003 and worked in an Equine Practice for 7 years before returning to small animal medicine in 2010. Dr. Murton joined the team at Deland Animal Hospital in June 2011. Dr. Murton and her husband enjoy travelling around the world. She has 2 dachshunds and 3 horses
