Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jason Marano is a native of New Jersey, having resided in central New Jersey for 26 years. He completed his undergraduate and graduate schooling at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He relocated for his veterinary training to Florida where he attended the University of Florida. In 2011 Dr. Marano graduated magna cum laude with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He then completed his training while participating in an internship program in small animal medicine and surgery at the prestigious Red bank Veterinary Hospital in Red Bank, New Jersey.Dr. Marano and his family recently moved to Sarasota from Ocala, where he was practicing medicine at a local small animal hospital. Dr. Marano is happily married to his wife Michelle and has two young daughters, Alexia and Ariahana. He enjoys spending his time with his family, playing soccer and practicing karate for which he has been training for over 25 years.
